Pastor Doug Wolf

Pastor Doug was born and raised in Hamilton, Ohio.  He and his wife, Sue, were married on August 2, 1975, and have been blessed with three children, a daughter-in-law, and two sons-in-law…Dan (Amber), Jennifer (Nate), and Ashley (Brad).  Pastor Doug and Sue have also been blessed with thirteen grandchildren, of which, three are already in Heaven.

Pastor Doug became a Christian on June 17, 1979 at the age of 23.  After several years of teaching third grade in Sunday school, he began teaching and serving in youth ministry in 1991.  In 1994 he was called by God into the ministry and was ordained on October 9, 1994.  Pastor Doug served in the youth ministry at two local churches until August 1999, when God called him into the pastorate.  He served as pastor at Freedom Baptist Church from September 1999 to February 2006.  During the remainder of 2006 and for the first two months of 2007 he did pulpit supply for area churches until being called as pastor at Bethany Baptist Church on March 1, 2007.

Pastor Doug graduated from Taft Senior High School in 1974 and from Liberty University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Religion.  He has a passion for all people to hear and know the Word of God, and for each to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.

Music Minister Carol Silver

Carol was born into a Christian home and accepted Jesus as her personal Savior at the tender age of 4.  She grew up in Liberty Township surrounded by her loving mother, father, and sister; and two houses on either side of hers filled with aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She served in her local church by teaching Sunday School, children's choir, and singing in the adult choir.  She also spent many years volunteering at the Cincinnati City Gospel Mission and the Mallard Cove retirement center playing the piano for services.

She attended Cedarville University and received a bachelors degree in Business and later went on to get her MBA from Xavier University and an MLIS from the University of Kentucky.

She loves praising God and ministering to others through music and is thankful for the church family at Bethany Baptist Church.

Family Minister Bryan Dobney

Bryan was born into a godly home and accepted Christ through his exposure to the gospel at a young age. Bryan grew up in Xenia, Ohio and was raised with 5 brothers and no sisters.

From an early age, Bryan felt God's call in his life to ministry and, although specifics would come later, followed that call. He attended University of the Cumberlands where he got his Bachelors Degree in Religion, with an emphasis on Biblical Studies in order to serve the Lord in a full-time capacity through the local church.

Bryan has been serving at Bethany Baptist since 2014 and loves spending time teaching, encouraging, and just having fun with the BBC youth.
